A young woman was being treated for a serious illness. One day, when she went to the doctor, he said "I'm sorry, but you've only got six more months to live."

"Oh doctor!" she cried, "What can I do?"

"Here's what you should do.." explained the doctor. "Go out and find a single engineer and marry him. Then move to North Dakota for the winter."

"But how will that help me live longer?" she asked.

"It won't," he said, "But it will make the six months seem much longer."
